Debjani is a self-taught artist and a visual storyteller from Kolkata, India. Stylistically, her art has been described as versatile, ranging from nature scenes in acrylic medium to traditional themes in oil based paintings. She nurtured an interest in artwork and illustrations since childhood by bringing to canvas her artistic imaginations.

After completing her Bachelor’s in English from Calcutta University, her passion for art led her to pursue a degree in Fine Arts from Sarva Bharatiya Charu Kala Mandir affiliated (All-India Fine Arts Association).

She has had the opportunity to participate in various projects and exhibitions as an independent artist with Space Circle Club Art Gallery, G.C Laha Centenary Finearts Gallery, Shrimati Art Gallery, Chemould Art Gallery, I.C.C.R Kolkata Gallery, Academy of Fine Arts, Kolkata and Birla Academy of Art and Culture. Besides her work, she likes to explore the fields of visual storytelling, historical eras, nature walks and meditation.
